| Whitnall U-11 Boys Capture Host Tourney |

After advancing to the semi finals in two tournaments, the boys U-11 tournament team finally blasted through the door by winning its first tournament at our U9/U11/U13 tourney this past weekend. The boys combined timely hitting with solid defense and superior pitching en route to a 5-0 record that was culminated by posting consecutive shut outs in the semis and finals, beating very good Burlington and Franklin teams by identical 2-0 scores. Congratulations also to our boys U-9 team for making it into the semifinals.

| Girls U14 team bring home second place in MMFL Grandslam tournament |

As the girls know, playing on Sunday is a great accomplishment in a single elimination tournament. Not only did the U14’s play on Sunday but won to get to the championship game, losing a close game 3-0 to take second place. Congratulations to everyone who participated.

| U-14 Boys Continue To Roll |

The Whitnall U-14 boys continued to play outstanding baseball by competing in their third championship game in a row and winning their second tournament in a row. Their record for the year is now 24-6. The boys played solid defense and used five pitchers throughout to post a 9-4 championship victory over the Brookfield Badgers in the Elmbrook Baseball Tournament. The highlights of the tourney included grand slams in our last at bat in both the semi-finals and finals. Congratulations to our U-9 and U-11 teams for also making it into the semi-finals of this tournament.

| BOYS U-13'S FINISH 2ND IN PEWAUKEE TOURNAMENT |

The Whitnall Falcons U13 team played some of their best baseball of the season in the Pewaukee tourney. Every player made a meaningful contribution. Solid pitching, clutch hitting, aggressive baserunning and good, sometimes spectacular defense helped the Falcons qualify for the Championship game in Pewaukee this past weekend. In the Championship game, Whitnall fell behind early but did not give up. They battled back, in a steady rain, before finally getting beat by a very hot hitting Pewaukee team.
